Wisdom Teeth Extraction: Day 1

I’d like to begin this story by stating that I’m actually writing this on Day 2 of the wisdom teeth extraction. I was in too much pain to write this yesterday, so today I thought it’d be better.

I woke up at around 8 AM after hearing my mom scream again and again for me to wake up. I was still quiet sleepy, so I went to the restroom and got ready and changed my clothes pretty quickly. In about just 10 minutes I was already sitting in the living room, slouching on the couch with my feet up and watching some T.V. Since I couldn’t eat anything prior to the operation, I just watched my dad eat. I bet he got creeped out by that, but hey, it’s not my fault. After my mom and dad finished eating their breakfast, we headed out towards the car and I sat in the backseat, just staring into the clouds. I asked my mom to turn on the radio, and as I expected, she said no. But she looked back at me, and than looked at the radio, and turned it on. It was a quick drive over to the surgery place, and once I stepped inside I still didn’t feel scared. I knew that they would knock me out with the anesthesia so I’d have nothing to fear.

After signing in and everything we just sat in the lobby for about 10 minutes when the lady calls my name and my dad walks in with me. She just checks my weight, height, blood pressure, and than puts a blue plastic bracelet on me that has my name and age, and some other things. After all the nurses that I went to, they all gave me compliments about my eyes and said I was really handsome. I get that ALL the time from old ladies, middle aged women, and even girls at my school. I just smile and say thanks. Anyway…one of the nurses takes me with her and hands me this blue apron kind of thing to wear and says to go inside the restroom, take off my shirt, and put that on. I do what she says and I come out and she ties the back of it. She than puts a warm towel on my back and it feels really nice. I sit in one of the rooms with my mom and she comes back and sticks this needle kind of thing in one of my veins. Before that she tied this big rubber-band kind of thing on my arm, than she made me squeeze this squishy ball. It made my vein rise so it was easier for her to stick in the IV. Once she sticks that we go into another room, than I meet the anesthesiologist and the surgeon who will be taking out my teeth. They both seemed like nice people so I wasn’t worried. After more and more minutes, a nurse takes me to the room where my surgery will take place. I lie down on this thing and the guy puts a mask on me and says, “You’ll go to sleep in a few minutes.” He also says, “I’ve added something into the IV that’ll burn a little, okay?” I didnt’ feel any burning pain, but I got knocked out FAST!

When I woke up I felt something in my mouth and it was just some guaze. I had this dizzy feeling and the nurses just started talking that I was awake. Than they started talking about how I’d look good in movies and that made me really happy. Anyways, they called my parents in and they saw me. Than I got in a wheelchair and they put me in the car and the nurse went away with the wheelchair. I was in so much pain I couldn’t even describe it. They had to go to CVS to give them the prescriptions, and when we came back home I was just sitting on the couch. They couldn’t understand anything I was saying so I was so mad that I cannot even tell you. I wanted to punch everything in my site, and that just made the pain worse in my mouth. I was sooooo angry thalt ajovwi
Giawj.bgjswgjliwjfIO FS IOASOIJGAWIOG STUPID ANGER! (I’m angry right now also.)

I can only eat stupid soft food and that made me angrier. I wanted to get the laptop and hurl it into the 3D tv. Anyways, I finally ate the disgusting food and my mouth still bled. I went to sleep and drooled the whole night.
