Nintendo 3DS

Hey everyone. Earlier today Nintendo announced during the E3 Expo that the Nintendo 3DS will be coming to America.

Here’s some information about this new DS –

The top screen is a 3.5″ widescreen and runs at 400*240 resolution (800*240 native for the 3D) and the bottom screen is a 4:3 3 inch screen that runs at 320*240. This is an increase over the Nintendo DS which has two 256*192 screens.

It’s a good thing I haven’t bought a DSi or a DSi XL yet! Once the 3DS comes out, I’m going to trade in my DS lite for this at GameStop. Anyway, here’s the Nintendo 3DS that was shown at the E3 Expo.

Here’s how big it’ll look in somebody’s hand.

As you can see by looking at the following picture, the Nintendo 3DS has two camera lenses on the front of it. It also has a camera lense on the top front screen inside the DS.

The other cool thing about this new version, is that there’s an analog stick along with the regular D-pad!  On the side of the top screen, you’ll see a slide bar. The slide bar controls the 3D of the game. So if you don’t really want it to be in 3D, just slide it down. I can’t believe you actually get to control how much 3D you want! Look at the bottom screen, and you’ll see three buttons: Select, Home, Start. Pretty cool, huh? In conclusion, this Nintendo 3DS is packed with amazing new features that’ll make your gaming experience even better! I can’t wait to get my hands on one of those!

(The release date for the Nintendo 3DS has not yet been announced)

  1. This thing seems pretty cool. Did you know they’re remaking ocarina of time for this? There are so many cool games coming out for it.

    • Yea, I’ve heard about that. They’re making lots of remakes, I guess that’s what I’d call them, for the 3DS. Oh, and it’s been a long time since you’ve commented Saadkid08.
